Let the quilting bug bite you with this fun layer cake quilt class! Make one for yourself and once you learn the technique, make more as gifts. This layer cake class is a sequel to our March layer cake class; a different pattern from the same book. This is a great class for beginners and for quilters who want to learn how to use a "layer cake" (10" square blocks). We are offering this class on Saturday, April 18th. The hope is for you to go home with a finished (or almost finished) quilt top and the skills for you to complete it on your own. Space is limited, so please register to secure a seat. The total amount due for the class is $65. The class fee is $25. You are required to purchase the book that includes the pattern (discounted to $20 for the class). This book contains 11 patterns, and this book will also be used for additional upcoming classes. The $65 also includes a $20 gift certificate toward the fabrics necessary for the class. Please note: If you have taken the layer cake class offered in March, you already have the book, so you will receive a $20 discount for the class. Please plan to stay from 10:00 – 3:45. We will take a quick 20-30 minute lunch break, so please bring a sack lunch. Items required to bring for class: 1. Sewing machine in good working order that you can operate. 2. Spools of thread and bobbins - gray is a good neutral color that will coincide with many fabrics. 3. Basic sewing supplies that include: ruler, rotary cutter, straight pins and a sharp pair of scissors. We hope to see you soon!
